New capabilities
Enhanced Heat Gain and Cooling Loads
Customers now have access to enhanced heat gain & cooling loads in h2x.
These features are now available in your account:
- Use a weather station for annual weather and solar data
- Model building orientation
- Model latent and sensible internal heat sources
- Model opaque room elements (walls, floors, ceiling/roofs)
- Model non-opaque room elements (windows)
- Run room & building simulations
Go to
Project Settings > Methods > Heat Gain Calculation Method > Heat Balance Method Energy Plus (Early Access)
to turn on these capabilities. Once turned on, Project Settings > Heat Load
settings should be updated with new options for you to use in heat gain calculations.Ducting now can be exported to AutoCAD
The ability to export ducts in AutoCAD has been improved. When you export via the AutoCAD export, the h2x AutoCAD addin should now export your ducts more accurately.
