MVHR supply and extract systems in residential properties are ducted using single size semi-rigid ducting. Ducts typically are 75 or 90mm OD. If higher flow rate or longer run is required to any of the extract or supply point (diffuser) multiple ducts are being used to provide greater cross sectional area of ducting. Typical plenums for MVHR systems are either single, twin or triple socket to accommodate up to 3nr of ducts for higher flow rate supply/ extraction points.
